Key US HEOR leadership role for the Immunology & Cardiovascular portfolio. Responsible for all value demonstration to support launch activities for Zeposia and TYK2, lifecycle management for Orencia and Eliquis, and pre-launch preparation for new assets (e.g. Factor X1a). Deep commitment to US commercial and medical objectives that are required to secure optimal patient access in the complex US healthcare market. Key leadership interface with US Commercial and Medical leadership. Forge innovative partnerships with US KOLs, payers, organized customers, and providers. Model the six BMS Behaviors to develop the best HEOR talent in industry.
Roles and Responsibilities
Influence across the BMS organization to provide high quality insights into future health economic trends, scientific advances and market place needs during early and full asset development to ensure Access considerations are identified and addressed.
Design and lead the execution of research strategies at the therapeutic and cross-therapeutic area levels that are fully integrated into the Development and Commercialization portfolio and further differentiate BMS products based on the economic, humanistic, clinical and real-world perspectives on value.
Lead, develop and manage a group of health outcomes professionals across Immunology, creating and fostering an effective team environment.
Significant interface, influence and impact with US payers and organized customers, other governmental, commercial and non-governmental organizations and profession societies that are shaping US healthcare policy. Provide evidence that helps foster a US environment that rewards innovation and improves patient access to innovative therapies
Understand the dynamics of the US healthcare market and systems as they relate to market access barriers. Anticipate/predict the direction and evolution of market access hurdles and opportunities.
Represent the US view as a key contributor to the Health Outcomes, Health Economic, Real World and Modeling capabilities across the regions/local markets to ensure alignment of standards/processes, partnership with medical, clinical, and commercial partners
Requirements
Doctoral degree, PhD in HPM, Economics, Pharmacy Administration preferred
At least 10 years of experience directly within the pharmaceutical industry leading HEOR teams
Proven ability to create a strong team culture that exemplifies the 6 BMS Behaviors
Global and national-specific expertise health outcomes addressing formal and informal market access barriers for pharmaceutical market entry
