,AnswerValue:As a Research Scientist at Tokyo Electron you will be working in a fast-paced environment as part of the advanced process control (APC) and advance equipment control (AEC) group for plasma process tools. In this role you will be involved in development and application of APC and AEC solutions as well as integration of plasma diagnostic sensor technologies. The ideal candidate would be able to scope customer’s plasma process and equipment related high value problems, architect, develop and implement APC and AEC solutions.\u003cbr/\u003e\u003cbr/\u003eResponsibilities:\u003cbr/\u003e• Collaborate with plasma process and equipment engineers to develop and implement APC/AEC solutions by leveraging the combination of digitally transformative tools (ML and AI) and fundamental plasma process, equipment and diagnostic sensor technologies.\u003cbr/\u003e• Responsibilities include recognition of industry trends, identification of customer’s key process integration and manufacturing issues \u003cbr/\u003e• Good communications skills are considered critical\u003cbr/\u003e• Communicate project goals and status both internally and externally at customer sites and conferences\u003cbr/\u003e• Publication in refereed scholarly journals and conferences as well as intellectual property generation is considered a must\u003cbr/\u003e• Some travel is required\u003cbr/\u003e\u003cbr/\u003eQualifications:\u003cbr/\u003e• BS/MS/Ph.D. degree in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related fields\u003cbr/\u003e• 2 years of experience in plasma process or equipment development is plus \u003cbr/\u003e• Ability to invent, develop and implement new algorithms and ideas\u003cbr/\u003e• Knowledge of control theory and its applications to APC/AEC systems \u003cbr/\u003e• Knowledge of major machine learning algorithms and statistics analysis tools\u003cbr/\u003e• Hands-on experience in object-oriented and functional programming\u003cbr/\u003e• Hands-on experience with products such as Matlab, Python or C \u003cbr/\u003e• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment\u003cbr/\u003e• Excellent written and verbal communication skills\u003cbr/\u003e• Excellent presentation skills\u003cbr/\u003e\u003cbr/\u003eCandidates will be required to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 upon commencing employment.
