Sign-on/Relocation Bonus Available- Up to $20,000!Do you want to work in a rapidly growing organization that directly supports test and evaluation for Homeland Security (HS)?ENSCO, Inc. is seeking an experienced Program Engineer/Scientist for Test and Evaluation to support the Homeland Security T&E Center of Excellence (HS T&E COE) located at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The HS T&E COE is born out of the innovative approaches to test planning and data analytics within AFIT’s ten-year-old Scientific Test and Analysis Techniques Center of Excellence (STAT COE). Specifically, this team provides test and evaluation support for Homeland Security acquisition programs and provides technical and strategic products in the following critical areas. You do not need to be an expert in all these areas. We are looking for someone who can apply leadership and research principles and leverage their experience. For outdoor enthusiasts, Dayton offers four seasons and many opportunities to enjoy the nearby rivers and lakes, hiking in local parks, and access to the amazing Appalachian Mountains.Task Responsibilities: •    Become a technical expert on how T&E is impacted by collaborating with critical area experts and engaging with technical literature•    Become team technical partner with HS leadership to support T&E initiatives •    Establish a strategic T&E technology plan that anticipates rapidly changing threats due to critical area technologies •    Assemble/lead a community of academia, industry, and government experts to assess future homeland threats to inform T&E plans across the nine critical areas •    Support coordination of multiple (3-5) technical roundtable events per year and the resulting products•    Provide best practices, lessons learned, and subject matter expert reach-back •    Develop T&E guidebooks for program test managers across the critical areas  •    Master’s degree (physical science, engineering, operations research, mathematics, etc.)•    10 years’ experience in a related field•    Demonstrated experience in testing operational systems (hardware and software) •    Strategic thinker with ability to influence the long-term success of an organization •    Understanding of potential vulnerabilities in some or all the critical areas •    Strong technical research and writing skills to prepare authoritative works •    Exceptional interpersonal and team building skills AN ACTIVE DOD TOP SECRET (TS) CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZENTelework - Not Eligible•    PhD (physical science, engineering, operations research, mathematics, etc.)•    TS/SCI Clearance•    DAWIA level III in engineering and/or test and evaluation •    Ten years of defense or related T&E experience •    Specific experience in strategic planning #LI-AH1ENSCO has been delivering engineering, science, and advance technology solutions to complex priority programs since 1969.
