My client is a busy HSE Hospital engaging in a vast amount of clinical areas. They are keen on providing a high standard of care ensuring patients receive the best possible quality of care. In joining such a hospital, you will be required to not just uphold excellent practices, but also aid the improvement of patient care.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Co-operate with other laboratory departments
Manage and supervise basic grade, support staff and trainees within the department as well as ensure competence of staff to carry out procedures
Ensuring a positive healthy work environment for all staff
Have a working knowledge of the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) Standards as they apply to the role and comply with associated HSE protocols for implementing and maintaining these standards
Maintain an up-to-date personal training / retraining record in accordance with laboratory policy
REQUIREMENTS:
Be CORU Registered
Excellent Communication Skills
Be familiar with legal standards in place
Must hold a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Science or Similar
