We are seeking a Scientist II for a very important client.
How will you make an impact?
Has applied knowledge from significant experience of applying the principles, concepts, and practices of a discipline. Supports complex analyses in a biology environment by selecting appropriate methods with independent judgment. Collaborates with other areas of internal development and/or manufacturing operations. Makes detailed observations and analyzes, resolves issues, documents, and communicates test results.
What will you do?
Applies technical skills to projects/assignments within own work group and project team.
Executes scientific experiments with minimal supervision.
Analyses, evaluates, and records experimental data in notebook accurately, clearly, and regularly.
Develops, qualifies, and transfers analytical methods like Capillary Electrophoresis, SDS-PAGE, cIEF, HPLC, etc.
Drafts technical plans, test methods, reports, protocols and SOPs with minimum supervision.
Performs analytical methods and studies to support process and formulation development.
Maintains and ensures safe laboratory environment and work practices.
Remains current in the field by review of relevant scientific literature and attendance at appropriate scientific webinars.
Requirement:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Knowledge of Electrophoresis and Chromatography based separation techniques for biologics.
Working knowledge of GMP/ GLP regulations in cGMP/ cGLP manufacturing environment. Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Good writing, communication and presentation skills.
Good MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills.
Excellent organization and planning skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to standards procedures.
Ability to analyze and summarize complex scientific data.
Ability to create reports, test methods and SOPs.
Ability to function in a rapidly changing environment.
